At Walton Plastics Engineering, we complete all our design, drawing, manufacture, servicing and installations of fume cupboards and laboratory equipment in-house to meet and exceed current Australian Standards, with an experienced team delivering a full service for your custom requirements. We challenge ourselves by focusing on the engineering providing customers value over cost. When you find yourself needing laboratory equipment or advise, do not hesitate to speak to Walton Plastics Engineering where our experience and engineering acumen will cost you no more.
In 1980, Roger Walton formed Walton Plastics Engineering after many years in the plastics industry. Roger helped Walton Plastics Engineering early on to specialise in the fume extraction industry, quickly becoming a leader in the design and supply of fume cupboards in WA. He spent many years helping to develop the AS2243.8:1986 providing many products to QE2 in Perth where a large amount of research occurred.
Throughout the years, experience allowed company development to update production techniques, adding product lines, and revising current products with a focus on ease for the end user. We are always challenging our development to find the best and efficient ways to make our product better focusing on longevity. It is in our morals to design from cradle-to-grave to minimise needless waste and products lasting well over 20 years.
At Walton Plastics Engineering, we are in the business of ethics. We pride ourselves in providing customers value over cost ensuring safety is the focus. We also have a focus on giving back to the community through sponsorship and employment. It is important that we look after those who look after us. Accordingly, we do not want to just supply you a product, we want to service and maintain your products and welcome feedback on how we can improve. At the end of the day, safety is worth it.
We understand what is required with fume extraction. From unit design to positioning within a laboratory, all these factors play a pivotal role in the efficiency and safety of your appliance. We provide this appraisal at no extra cost and guarantee its full compliance. You will also receive a complete set of drawings prior to fabrication and/or installation for customer signed off. Our expertise comes from our experienced, in-house engineering team.

We are a small family business who carry that ethic through day-to-day operations. Part of this moral involves giving back to the community and providing customers with ethical solutions.
