The tower scrubber is a column type scrubber where air works counterflow against gravity in an upward draft column. The tower scrubber is very effective for its small footprint. It also has gravity to work against liquid carry over which places less work on the mist elimination. Ideally liquid should remain in the scrubber only and not carry over to the fan which will then emit to the atmosphere. These come in two footprints with a modular approach design. The tower scrubber is the mid range scrubber with a plausible scrubbing capacity and smaller footprint (relative to crossflow).
